Competitive Market Analysis
This week, you will submit your Competitive Market Analysis on the company you chose in Week 1. You only need to provide this portion of your paper this week. This analysis should be complete with macro-environmental, competitive, and consumer analyses. (I ATTACHED BELOW WHAT I DID LAST WEEK)
This section of your paper should include a detailed PEST analysis and a Five Forces analysis, in which you capture competitors in the five forces areas
Conduct a consumer analysis by answering the key questions
Who is the buyer?
What is the buyer looking for?
When will the buyer buy or use your product?
Why is there a need for your product?
Where does the buyer shop?
How will they use your product?
Also, provide the types of research methods you will conduct to seek out your customers. Provide examples of what the research would include
Identify one “good” competitor. What makes him or her a good competitor?
Identify one “bad” competitor. What makes him or her a bad competitor?
Using evidence to support notions, discuss the competitor’s marketing mix and how you can use it to find areas of vulnerability
Justify your Competitive Market Analysis with research and examples
Parameters: 4-6 pages, APA style, Times New Roman 12-pt. font, one-inch margins, double-spacing, and subheads. Format with a cover page and a reference page. Please support your paper with two to three academic references.
