Paper 3: International Cooperation Paper. Deadline: 11:59pm, Wednesday June 23rd. Papers must be submitted through the submission link on Canvas by the deadline. No late papers will be accepted. In this paper, you will examine a case of cooperation among actors in the international system. Your task will be to identify and discuss an example of international cooperation that has occurred at any point over the last 10 years. In order to receive a satisfactory grade on the paper, it must meet the following criteria:
The paper must be no fewer than 700 words and no more than 1000 words in length
The paper must cite information relevant to your example of international cooperation from no fewer than two major news sources (major news papers or magazines include sources such as the New York Times, Washington Post, The Economist, BBC News, Foreign Policy, Foreign Affairs, etc.). The sources used must be cited at the end of your paper and do not count toward the word length requirement.
The paper must provide an overview of the example of cooperation chosen and describe why it fits the definition of international cooperation.
The paper must identify the actors that were involved in the cooperative event chosen for the paper
The paper must discuss some of the barriers that were present in the achievement of this example of cooperation.
Papers with a large number of grammatical errors or those that are insufficiently understandable will receive an unsatisfactory grade.
