Essay about something shaping my future.
In my junior year of high school, I lost my best friend, Reginald Waldon (A.K.A Reggie), on May 26, 2020. We were inseparable. I loved him. When he died, a part of me died as well. I stopped doing schoolwork, and my grades started to slip. All I wanted to do was die, too, because I had already lost so many people.
Later on, I decided that I could no longer be sad and let his death stop me from accomplishing my goals and dreams. I learned to take every obstacle and use it as motivation. What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.
I went to Communications and Media Arts High Schools In Detroit, Michigan.
Talk about death and just make it sound meaningful. Add more to it and make it worthwhile to read.
This event made me always put my best foot forward when doing anything and always persevere through any hard times because they won’t always last. It made me stronger.
Talk about overcoming depression and suicidal thoughts. Go in dept, because I’ve even attempted. Talk about how I did not eat, how I would go to school and hide for hours in the bathroom to cry, how I started hanging around the wrong crowd etc.
