Each student is to write a minimum ten (10) page paper (not including the cover page or reference page) on the Future of Law Enforcement in the United States. Taking cues from throughout history and the issues that have been evaluated and analyzed throughout the course, each student will provide a presentation of American law enforcement of the future, discussing and providing examples of what federal law enforcement, state law enforcement and local law enforcement will look like and how each segment will operate at the beginning of the 22nd century (the year 2100). Focus on what has worked, what hasn’t worked, and the major issues, past, present and anticipated for the future, that will impact each level of law enforcement. In addition, as a law enforcement administrator, assess how you would address the functioning and issues related to agencies at each level of law enforcement.
Each student will use at least ten (10) academically credible sources and all references are to be placed appropriately (using APA format) within the text and listed on a Reference Page. In addition, as this is a graduate-level course, it is expected that appropriate grammar and sentence structure will be followed
