Scenario: You are hired as a strategic management consultant for a chosen organization (preferably the organization you are currently working or any other organization where engineering products/services are offered). As a consultant, you are assigned to make interventions (in the domains of HRM, Strategy formulation, Supply Chain and TQM) and prepare a report addressing the following:
1. Evaluate how leadership and innovation make key contributions to functions of various departments delivering engineering services in your chosen organization and examine the role of HRM in talent management. (1500 Words)
2. Describe Porterâ€™s Five Forces model and develop strategies based on Porterâ€™s model for your organization to be ahead of competition. [1000 Words]
3. Discuss how the key drivers of supply chain management at your chosen organization can be efficiently executed. [1000 Words]
4. Develop quality measures using basic TQM tools like 5-S and fishbone diagram for your Chosen Engineering Organization. [1000 Words]
Task 2: Presentation â€“ [10-12 slides on PPT and 15-20 Minutes]
The Presentation on the Marketing Mix (7Ps of Marketing) for the Chosen Organization in Task-1 would be conducted during the final phases of the course on a mutually agreed time slot (between the learner and the faculty). The time allotted for the presentation is 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation followed by 5 minutes Q&A) and would be evaluated based on content, presentation skills and interaction.
